It’s common to head straight to the tour from the airport, but you might enjoy the experience more if you arrive a day early. Staying overnight in Pangkalan Bun first is a great way to rest up and avoid any stress caused by travel delays. Since the tour concludes early on the final day, an overnight stay is unnecessary unless you wish to rest and enjoy a hot shower before your next flight. Our tours use traditional wooden “Klotoks” upgraded for your comfort. Each boat features a clean Western-style toilet and shower. You will enjoy an exclusive top deck with a lounge, a dining area, and a cozy sleeping space protected by a mosquito net. While the crew stays on the lower deck, the upper deck is entirely yours. For 1–2 guests, we use a 12m boat; for groups of 3–6, we provide a larger, 17m vessel.

Start: We will coordinate your exact pick-up time prior to the tour. Ideally, we collect you in Pangkalan Bun between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, though a slightly later start is possible. To catch the 3:00 PM feeding at Tanjung Harapan, we must depart Pangkalan Bun by 11:30 AM at the latest.

If you arrive on the day your tour begins, we will pick you up directly from the airport to start immediately. While any morning arrival works well, we can also accommodate afternoon arrivals; however, please note that this will reduce your time in the park.

End: The tour concludes after breakfast on the final day. We typically depart Tanjung Puting National Park around 9:00 AM, arriving at your hotel or the airport by 10:00 AM. If you have an early flight, don’t worry—we will ensure you reach the airport with plenty of time to spare.
