TOUR PROGRAM :
Day 01 : Airport – Kumai – Tanjung Harapan – Boat
Upon landing at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a tour guide who will escort you on a direct transfer to Kumai. The drive from the airport to the harbor, where the boat is moored, takes approximately 20 minutes. Once at the dock, you will meet the full crew who will accompany you throughout your Orangutan Tour in Tanjung Puting, including the boat captain, a crew member, a local guide, and a cook. The journey then continues by traditional river boat, known as a klotok, heading toward the first camp within the Tanjung Puting National Park. The boat will cruise along a wide river before turning into a narrower waterway called the Sekoyer River.

On the first day, the tour includes a visit to Tanjung Harapan to witness the orangutan feeding session scheduled at 3:00 PM. After the activity, you will return to the boat and proceed further upriver to the next camp, Pondok Tangguy. Along the way, you can observe various wildlife along the riverbanks, such as long-tailed macaques, proboscis monkeys, and diverse bird species. Upon arrival at Pondok Tangguy, you will spend the night onboard the klotok, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the river.

Day 02 : Houseboat – Pondok Tanggui Camp – Camp Leaky
The day begins with waking up and enjoying breakfast at around 7:00 AM. Afterward, you will be escorted to the second camp, Pondok Tangguy, to observe the orangutan feeding activity, which takes place at 9:00 AM. Once the feeding session is completed, the journey continues by boat toward the third destination, Camp Leakey. The river cruise from Pondok Tangguy to Camp Leakey lasts approximately one hour, and upon arrival, lunch will be served on the boat at around 12:00 PM.

Following lunch, you will disembark and visit the information center at Camp Leakey. Before 2:00 PM, you will walk into the forest for about three kilometers to reach the feeding area. During this experience, orangutans will emerge from the jungle and approach the feeding platform. After observing this activity, you will return to the boat and proceed with the trip toward the river estuary.

Day 03 : Houseboat – Seikonyer river – Kumai port – Kudangan Dayak Village
The morning starts with waking up and enjoying breakfast at around 7:00 AM. Afterward, the journey continues toward Kumai. Upon arrival, the Dayak cultural tour begins, followed by a scenic four-hour drive by car to Kudangan Dayak Village. Once there, you will have the opportunity to meet local residents and explore the village environment.

In the evening, the villagers will present a traditional welcome dance as a sign of hospitality. The day concludes with dinner and the sharing of traditional drinks together with the community. You will spend the night staying in a traditional Dayak longhouse.

Day 04 : Kudangan village – Jungle Trek
After finishing breakfast, the day continues with a jungle trekking adventure. During the walk through the forest, there is a chance to encounter wildlife, and the Dayak villagers will share their knowledge of traditional hunting methods as well as basic survival skills.
